Thamesmead, 2010

In 2010, hosted one of Japan's leading photographers, Naoya Hatakeyama, as inaugural artist/researcher/collaborator in residence. During the one month long A|R|C residency, Naoya Hatakeyama, together with Manu Luksch and Mukul Patel explored sites of (often failed) utopian architecture in and around London. His series of photographic works, titled Thamesmead, 2010, combined with poetry by Mukul, are presented for the first time at Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo 4 April -28 May 2017.
