04 Sept 2008 at ambient.space : An open-air exhibition of photography by Manu Luksch. During a visit to Beijing in 1996, she took images of newly built, empty road intersections. Between 1966 and 1996, over 60 road intersections were built in Beijing, some of them over 500m long and covering an area of 250,000 sq. m

... is a one-minute film commission Animate Projects and RSA Arts & Ecology as part of Stop. Watch. in association with Arts Council England and Channel 4. The film is a (very) short meditation on the manipulation of winter landscapes for tourism that points to their fragility and recalls the need for a holistic perspective. The video was shown at Centre Pompidou HORS PISTES 09, and premiered at the International China Youth Arts Festival in Beijing. [VIDEO mp4]
